Tri-Campus TA Week 2025

This week of synchronous online sessions and one in-person half day is open to all new and returning TAs at the University of Toronto. All sessions can be used as paid training with department approval. 

The TATP offers 7 certificate programs for graduate students at the University of Toronto. For more information on our certificate programs, go to our Certificate Programs Webpage. For TA week, you may count sessions towards these certificate programs in the following ways:

1. Up to four hours attended during TA week are eligible to be counted towards the Foundations of Teaching in Higher Education certificate program.
2. Accessible and Inclusive Teaching Certificate eligible workshops:
   • Managing Difficult Conversations
   • Identifying and Addressing Microaggressions
   • Building a Community in Your Classroom
   • Fostering Equity and Inclusion in Teaching and Learning
3. Educational Technology Certificate eligible workshops:
   • Using Educational Technology in the Classroom
   • PowerPoint Essentials
   • Integrating AI into Active Learning Activities
4. Course Design Certificate eligible workshop:
   • Managing Difficult Conversations
   • Integrating AI into Active Learning Activities
