Building Teaching Confidence through Effective Delivery Skills (In-Person)

This in-person workshop is a highly interactive and practical workshop for educators who want to strengthen their delivery and presentation skills in a classroom context. Teaching workshops often focus on content-specific dissemination and communication; this workshop builds on participants’ skills, knowledge, and teaching styles with a granular focus on improving delivery through effective use of body language and speaking voice; logical flow between beginning, middle, and ends of lessons; and in strategies for confident explanation and facilitation. These practical delivery skills will then be connected to two teaching contexts that educators are often expected to jump right in and teach: lecturing and discussion facilitation.
