This interactive workshop will introduce participants to some broad issues related to enhancing accessibility in various teaching and learning environments. We will discuss the differences between accessibility and accommodation, provide an overview of the policy context at the University of Toronto, identify resources for students and TAs alike, and discuss some simple strategies that graduate student teachers can immediately implement to enhance the accessibility of their particular teaching contexts.
